Trollbeads and SilveRado launch Irish distribution arms

SilveRado and Trollbeads have both launched Irish divisions this month. The two bead brands launched Irish distribution arms at trade show Showcase Ireland in Dublin.

Trollbeads has pledged to get serious in Ireland and has set up a dedicated distribution channel after selling in the country for the past three years through individual stockists. The brand has already signed up four outlets in the Republic of Ireland and six in Northern Ireland and said that it plans to sign up to 40 stockists in the country.

Trollbead’s Richard Morfoot said: “Irish retailers have been waiting for us to do it properly over here, and now we are. We want to cap the number of stockists at 40 to keep it exclusive and a little bit elusive.”

SilverRado was also at the show, promoting its charms and beads and searching for Irish agents. The brand now has global distribution and is planning to launch a new range of children’s jewellery next month at Spring Fair International.

SilveRado’s Anna Pirie said: “SilveRado will be very good in a recession, as it is very reasonable but not peanuts for silver jewellery. Once people get into it, they get addicted and start buying pieces all the time.”
