A.b.art hires UK sales exec

Swiss watch brand a.b.art has hired a UK sales executive to help it increase its stockists. Victoria Monaghan joined the company at the beginning of the year and has been undergoing intensive training in Switzerland and the UK.

Monaghan left a job in the Cayman Islands with Island Companies as a marketing assistant, where she was involved in setting up 27 luxury goods stores. She has a Jeweller's and Gemstone Diploma from the National Association of Goldsmiths.

A.b.art UK managing director David Shoesmith said: 'This is a major step forward for us to expand our sales platform to employ Victoria. We are convinced that she will provide a very professional and competent addition to our company, bringing with her such an impressive background in the trade.'

A.b.art, which has had a UK distribution arm for two years, will be exhibiting at Spring Fair International in Birmingham next month.
