Cosmopolitan Online Fashion Awards 2009 winners are announced

Cosmopolitan

magazine held its second Cosmopolitan Online Fashion Awards yesterday morning at London’s prestigious Kensington Roof Gardens.

Hsamuel.co.uk scooped the Best for Watches prize for the second year running, while Best Online Jeweller was won by accessorize.co.uk, also for the second consecutive year. Online Retailer of the Year went to asos.com for the second time, and Asos also took home Best for Bargains and To-Die-For Denim accolades.

Co-presenting the ceremony, Justine Southall, publishing director of Cosmopolitan, said: “£1 in every £12 spent on fashion is spent by a Cosmo reader, which is why we dedicate so much of the magazine to fashion. This year, we are making the Awards coverage more prominent in the magazine by placing at the front in the News section.”

The 16 categories, voted for by over 10,000 readers, were judged by an expert fashion panel that included presenter Fearne Cotton, model and presenter Lisa Snowdon and TV personality Mark Heyes.
