Cate Blanchett attends Van Cleef & Arpels Hong Kong Maison opening

Actress Cate Blanchett was among the stars who attended the opening of the Van Cleef & Arpels Hong Kong Maison last week.

As well as its 89 boutiques, Van Cleef & Arpels now has three Maisons – one in Paris, one in New York and now one in Hong Kong.

Akin to the American and Parisian locations, the Hong Kong Maison, which was opened on September 16 and is in the Prince’s Building, was designed by Patrick Jouin and Sanjit Manku and is said to: “accentuate refinement, exclusivity and modernity”.

The opening was attended by the Van Cleef & Arpels president and CEO Stanislas de Quercize, vice-president and worldwide creative director Nicolas Bos, president Asia Pacific Benjamin Vuchot, general manager Hong Kong and Macau Catherine Renier, the Hong Kong Maison’s designer and architect Patrick Jouin and Sanjit Manku and celebrities including actress Cate Blanchett and Asian actress Josephine Siao Fong Fong.

The ribbon cutting ceremony took place in the Prince’s Building Van Cleef & Arpels Maison.

After the ceremony an exclusive gala dinner was hosted in the award-winning Mandarin Oriental Hotel.
