Actor Luke Evans named as Police brand ambassador

Italian lifestyle brand Police has chosen Hollywood actor Luke Evans as its brand ambassador for 2012.

The Welshman is following in the footsteps of iconic fashion figures such as Bruce Willis, George Clooney and David Beckham to front all campaigns for the Police brand, including watches and jewellery.

Evans has acted on the big screen in films including The Three Musketeers, Immortals and Clash of the Titans and, going forward, Evans has taken a lead acting role alongside John Cusack in the thriller The Raven, and is set to star in the two-part fantasy film and prequel to Lord of The Rings – The Hobbit.

His fashion credentials include being nominated as GQ’s Best Dressed Man. Police recently shot its latest brand campaign for 2012 featuring Evans, which will be the focus for its consumer activity this year and includes press, outdoor, online and instore advertising. The image used for promoting Police watches includes Evans wearing Police’s new Defender watch, which went in to retail when the campaign launched in March.
