Hartmanns of Galway sponsors Connacht Rugby Player of the Month award

In association with watch brand Tag Heuer – the official timekeepers of the Rugby World Cup 2011/12 – the Irish retailer has teamed up with Connacht Rugby to present the watch, which was presented to rugby player Michael Swift (pictured) for the September award.

The coveted award is presented monthly to Connacht players who have demonstrated exceptional skill on the pitch as well as displaying dedication to the club, integration with the squad and interaction with the wider community.

Speaking about the partnership, Connacht Rugby’s commercial manager Fiona Keys said: “We are thrilled Hartmanns of Galway will be sponsoring our Player of the Month award with such an exclusive prize.
