NAG to launch Olympics related campaign at The Jewellery Show

The National Association of Goldsmiths (NAG) will officially launch its Olympics-inspired 2012 campaign at The Jewellery Show, which begins on Sunday in Birmingham.

The campaign is designed to demonstrate the NAG’s perseverance in forging strong links across all sectors of the jewellery industry and retail sector throughout its 118 years.

Using symbolism related to the Olympics Games, and in the year when the Olympic Games are coming to London, an NAG spokesperson said that the campaign will focus on how, since 1894, the “NAG has been running rings around its competitors in carrying the torch for retail jewellers up and down the country”.

This campaign is not focused on any particular aspect of business practice but on how the NAG can best serve its members.

As part of The Jewellery Show, which runs at the Birmingham NEC until February 9, the NAG will outline the events it is running over the course of the year; give a live demonstration of its all-new online learning environment; while also being on hand for discussing issues.
