Jersey Pearl and Cred Jewellers combine ethical forces

Jersey Pearl is now available in Cred Jewellers, bringing together the pair’s focus on ethical sourcing.

Cred Jewellers, an ethical boutique jewellers based in Chichester, is the brainchild of Fair Trade campaigner Greg Valerio.

Meanwhile Jersey Pearl is passionate about highlighting the environmental benefits of pearl farming and the threats posed to it by climate change. The brand offers a wide selection of CarbonNeutral pearls, which means that working with the CarbonNeutral Company, which strives to offset the carbon footprint of their pearls by supporting green energy projects.

Jersey Pearl’s latest collection, called Fiore della Notte, is in collaboration with designer Anna Loucah and is described as an entirely ethical collection crafted with recycled gold sourced by Hoover & Strong, fair mined rubies from Ruby Fair and CarbonNeutral Akya Pearls.

The pearl collections will be available to buy on Cred’s website and in Cred stores in November 2011.
