Online store The Cufflink Gallery set to launch

Online store The Cufflink Gallery will launch on September 20, offering consumers independently designed cufflinks.

The website, www.thecufflinkgallery.com, is a partnership between master silversmith Bernard Leon, who has over 30 years experience, and Kate Battes, a project manager from the Cotswolds who has been in the jewellery trade for over 10 years. Leon has produced silver pieces for a host of famous faces including the Sultan of Oman, Boris Becker, George Michael and Mark Knoppfler.

The Cufflink Gallery has already secured a range of popular designers including Andrew Geoghegan, Joanna Dahdah and Daisy Knights.

Prices start at £70 and go up to thousands of pounds, offering shoppers cufflinks made from a vast choice of metals, including sterling silver, gold, palladium and platinum.

Battes said: “We have always been strong advocators for independent designers and when we noticed a gap in the market for high quality designer cufflinks we decided to create www.thecufflinkgallery.com”.

She added: “As a regular internet user I am well aware of how confusing and frustrating online shopping experiences can be. So in creating www.thecufflinkgallery.com we have ensured that simplicity is king and will offer shoppers a safe, easy way to choose a fabulous pair of cufflinks.”

Leon and Battes are also committed to supporting British design.
