Bremont launches its first world timer watch

The British watch brand has released the timepiece, which it was commissioned to produce in 2010 for the crew of the military transport aircraft C-17 Globemaster.

The brand has developed the watch for the civilian market. Its iconic Trip-Tick case has been updated and now includes a Roto-Click bezel, which enables the user to work out the global time zones using the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) airfield identifiers. Each identifier represents a C-17 landing location in all 24 time zones.

The date window takes its inspiration from the Globemaster’s Head Up Display - the transparent display that pilots use to see data without having to look down at their instruments – and the steel used in the case construction has been hardened to 200 vickers.

The watch contains Bremont’s BE-45AE movement. It will be available with a blue, black or white dial and have an RRP of £3,995.
