Buddha to Buddha appoints Believe Eve as its UK and Ireland PR

The team, headed by Larissa Trew, will work towards raising brand awareness in each country, with a focus predominantly on the men’s jewellery and watch market with quick progression into the women’s sector

Sander van Veen, Buddha to Buddha’s international sales and export manager said of the appointment, “We are very glad to have the Believe Eve team on board. Their experience in the consumer lifestyle market and expertise in watches and jewellery will give us the strong strategic thinking and contacts required to grow our UK presence.

Founder Batul Loomans launched the Buddha To Buddha brand in 1997. While on a meditation holiday he drew a bracelet on a piece of paper and had it made by a local silversmith. The bracelet was often commented upon and enquired about and what started as a hobby quickly evolved.

Born out of Loomans’s deep routed love and connection with the beautiful Island of Bali, his passion for meditation and spiritual growth and a demand for beautiful handmade jewellery inspired by a conscious message the Buddha To Buddha brand was born.

The jewellery is designed by Loomans in his home town of Amsterdam, and handcrafted by the finest silversmiths in Bali. The brand also works closely with the island’s Margaret Barry Bali Children’s Foundation who help educate underprivileged children.

Managing director of Believe Eve, Larissa Trew added, “We are thrilled to be working with such a dynamic brand with such a beautiful collection to talk about. Our first port of call is to get the jewellery on as many known and unknown wrists and necks as possible!”

Buddha To Buddha already has a global presence, with points of sale in 18 countries and a loyal celebrity following including the likes of Fergie (Black Eyed Peas), Snoop Dogg, Jooles Oliver, Kat Von-D, DJ Afro Jack, DJ Hardwell, , Bryan Adams, Robin Van Persie, George Michael, Debbie Harry (Blondie) and Doutzen Kroes.

At the end of 2013 Buddha To Buddha launched its first watch collection for men and women. The new collection echoes the high quality and unique design of its jewellery counterparts. Swiss craftsmanship, supreme attention to detail and unique design features perfectly embody Buddha To Buddha’s “free spirit” philosophy.
