Department for Business urges retailers to comment on hallmark status
A Department for Business spokesperson has contacted Retail Jeweller following the publication of its ‘Hallmarking under threat in red tape review’ story to say that that while the Government is not necessarily intending to scrap hallmarking if it is working, it is seeking retailer feedback on whether it is as efficient as possible.
