Inhorgenta management shake-up
Inhorgenta has announced new management for the 2012 edition of the German trade show.
The Munich-based show has appointed Renate Wittgenstein to head up the Inhorgenta team as exhibition director with immediate effect, taking over from Armin Wittmann who is leaving to become event director for Automatica. Speaking about Wittmann’s departure, Klaus Dittrich, chairman and CEO of the fair’s organiser Messe München GmbH, said: “After many, successful years at Inhorgenta Armin Wittmann has taken advantage of an opportunity for further professional development within the Messe München organisation. We would like to thank him for his efforts and involvement and wish him all the best in his new function.”
The trade show organiser has also appointed long-time industry member and former Inhorgenta product manager Johanna Eberl as deputy exhibition director. The existing team consisting of Anne Dautremant, Sandra Neuwert and Angelika Wildegger will continue to cover all trade fair related responsibilities for Inhorgenta.
Dittrich said: “We are pleased that Inhorgenta, a trade fair which has been extremely successful throughout the years, will be able to draw on Wittgenstein’s long-time experience and thus continue well-prepared for any future challenge.”
Wittgenstein has been consulting with the Inhorgenta team for the last few months and has 20 years of experience in the jewellery, fashion and lifestyle industry. Johanna Erberl has worked as project manager for Inhorgenta since 2010.
