Jasmine Alexander named as British Jewellery Week ambassador

British Jewellery Week has selected Jasmine Alexander as one of its three ambassadors.

The series of exhibition events launched at Treasure during London Jewellery Week, and is now undertaking a nationwide tour promoting British designers until November.

The ambassadors were selected from some of the best up-and-coming British design talent. French magazine Citizen K described Alexander as “the Vivienne Westwood of the British jewellery industry”. Her designs are based on her love of poetry and English language.

Alexander launched her debut collection alongside Paul Smith in 2008, and her second at Couture in Las Vegas. She was also nominated for the Bright Young Gems Award in 2009.

The next British Jewellery Week event is set to take place at Wave Contemporary Jewellery’s Beauchamp Place store in London.
