Move for London Jewellery Week 2012

London Jewellery Week has announced its plans for 2012.

The event, which comprises events across London to celebrate British jewellery talent, will be taking place a week earlier than previous years to incorporate 2012’s social and jewellery calendars and will now run from June 11-17.
The event will also have a new hub at Somerset House.

The venue will play host to Treasure, the contemporary jewellery showcase, which is one of the cornerstones of the week.

“We are proud to be invited to host the centrepiece of London Jewellery Week at Somerset House,” said Della Tinsley, director of London Jewellery Week. “Treasure has always been in inspirational venues since the first show in 2008 at the Tower of London so this is the right move for both Treasure and London Jewellery Week.”

Following on from its successful trade day last year at Treasure, which was in association with Retail Jeweller and WGSN, The Jewellery Show will be partnering up with London Jewellery Week to offer a two-day trade event that will take place on June 12-13.
