Selfridges snaps up Pesavento
Italian jewellery brand Pesavento has secured luxury department store Selfridges as its first stockist, following its launch in the UK market a mere two weeks ago.
Retail Jeweller reported in May that distributor Leoro, which also represents fellow Italian jewellery brand Marco Bicego, was introducing Pesavento and Dutch brand Choices by DL to the UK market. Leoro has been in the process of selecting exclusive stockists, and has just announced that Pesavento will launch in Selfridges’ flagship London store early next month.
Pesavento brand manager Kate Mitchell told Retail Jeweller that gaining Selfridges as the brand’s first stockist would ensure the kind of exposure that “dreams are made of”. She said: “Selfridges are leaders in their field and one of the most recognised retail brands in the UK and the world, they strive to be one step ahead of the rest.”
She added: “Pesavento designs are individual, beautiful and eye catching. Combine this with the trendy and international life style Selfridges epitomises and we feel we have a perfect match. Pesavento has arrived.”
