The BJA to host watch seminar at Jewellery Week

The trade association will be running an invite-only seminar on June 13 at Somerset House

The purpose of the seminar is to identify the key issues that are currently facing the UK watch industry from auditing and testing and production certification to BSI representation and The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE).

The meeting will be structured to take comments and ideas from the floor in order to arrive at a consensus of action points for the industry, with a possibility of further meetings being held in the future.

The seminar will be hosted by Peter Law of Inter City Watch Company and BJA chief executive Simon Rainer. The event will be moderated by Retail Jeweller editor Laura McCreddie.
