Gucci extends digital line 15 Sep 2008 | View Readers CommentsGucci’s watch division has introduced new additions to its digital time-piece collection, I-GUCCI.
The large, double layout digital display is now available with multiple colour options for the dial and digits, while the GG rubber straps are now available in blue, brown and black, with the black version also featuring Gucci’s distinctive green-red-green web.
For a more up-market take on the Swiss-made digital line, a diamond-set bezel option is also being offered, adorned with a total of 55 stones.
The standard technical features of the I-GUCCI are unchanged. One press of the lateral push button switches the screen from its information-packed oversized digits to a simple version showing two digital hands for local time.
Designed by creative director Frida Giannini, Gucci says its digital watch line aims to “illustrate Frida’s flair for reinventing classic Gucci luxury into a confident vision for today”.
