Alex Monroe and Denisonboston have been shortlisted for the accessories award at the 2009 UK Fashion Export Awards. The winner of the award, which will be handed out in London in June, will either win a stand at trade show Pure Accessories in London or a colour page ad in fashion trade magazine Drapers. 

The judging panel for the awards, chaired by Emap Connect managing director Steve Newbold, includes Prêt à Porter Paris’s Muriel Piaser, Moda Menswear’s Nick Cook, Real Business’s Stuark Rock and Kurt Salmon Associates’ Sue Butler.

The awards will be presented by Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal on June 4 at The Landmark London. The lunch will be hosted by actress Joanna Lumley.

UK Fashion Exports is the export division of the British Clothing Industry Association, offering practical help to British exporters, overseas buyers, agents and press.
