Alexis Dove to represent the 'Best of British'

Alexis Dove jewellery has been picked by Goldsmiths to represent ‘The Best of British’ in a new initiative and by representatives of HRH The Prince of Wales to feature in Highgrove shops.


The designer, known for her nature-inspired designs, will have her work featured in slected Goldsmiths shops from June 2012 until the end of the year as part of Goldsmiths’ Best of British initiative, which has been launched to promote jewellery design talent on the high street.

Dove’s collections that will feature include her Curio collection of keys and buttons, her Beachcomber collection and a selection of her silver and vermeil wrens, owls and rabbits.

Meanwhile, HRH Prince Charles’s Highgrove Estate has selcted Dove’s jewellery for the Highgrove shops on the estate, in Tetbury and online form the end of June.

Dove said: “Highgrove were looking for peices that perfectly complemented the look of Highgrove Gardens and of the Prince of Wales’s personal interest in nature.

“I am absolutely delighted that my designs have been chosen for Highgrove and for Goldsmiths.”

Dove’s jewellery is quintessentially English, inspired by the nature of the South Downs.
