KickStart 2012 launches

The KickStart competition for new designers has opened for 2012 entries.

Supported by the British Jeweller’s Association (BJA), KickStart is an annual competition in which selected designers are given the opportunity to launch themselves as commercial goldsmiths/designer-makers at trade show International Jewellery London (IJL).

Mirpuri, Claire English and Abigail Stradling are among the previous KickStarters who are returning to the show in 2012 as fully-fledged exhibitors.

Stradling said: “I am already excited about IJL 2012, I am looking forward to planning my stand, greeting new friends and clients and presenting the development of my collections.”

Designers can apply for KickStart 2012 here: www.jewellerylondon.com/kickstart

IJL 2012 takes place on 2 to 5 September, 2012, at Earls Court 2, London.
