Bell & Ross launches argentium pocket watch

The limited edition PW1 Argentium Minute Repeater indicates the hours and minutes musically on request.

The watch has been designed to reflect the traditions of period watches. It has an argentium case and chain with a domed crystal and dial and a manual winding mechanism. The new alloy is a more pure and durable form of silver that does not tarnish. When the guilloche caseback is opened, it reveals the internal workings of the mechanism.

The watch will retail at £26,000 but the number of pieces that will be produced has not yet been confirmed.
