NAJ awards graduates at Goldsmiths’ Hall event

The National Association of Jewellers (NAJ) celebrated the achievements of its students at a graduation ceremony held at London’s Goldsmiths’ Hall last night (March 15).

Over 200 students supported by family members attended the celebratory event as well as leading figures from the industry.

On the night, over 100 students were awarded the Professional Jewellers’ Diploma as well as qualifications including Institute of Registered Valuers’ Fellows, JET Management Diploma, JET Business Development Full Diploma and Certificate of Appraisal Theory.

Talking to Retail Jeweller, chief executive officer of the NAJ Michael Rawlinson said: “Seeing so many dedicated and passionate graduates at the Presentation of Awards last night is the confirmation of the high regard in which the Association’s qualifications are held.

“For over 60 years we have taken responsibility for training the retail sector so that we can deliver on the promise of a professional membership. We now intend to continue this tradition and maintain our leadership position by offering the completely updated and revised JET certificate to the whole of the trade. This is the ideal training course for any new starter in any jewellery business.”
