Five spots left for Hong Kong buyer incentive programme

There are just five spaces remaining for interested applicants to put themselves forward for 2017’s Retail Jeweller buyer incentive programme to attend the Hong Kong international jewellery shows.

Run in conjunction with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), this specially selected delegation of retail buyers and suppliers will travel to the Hong Kong International Jewellery shows in March 2017.

Following on from the success of the inaugural hosted buyer programme in March last year, which saw 15 retailers visit the Hong Kong Diamond Gem And Pearl Show and the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show, the HKTDC, together with Retail Jeweller, is now offering 30 individual companies the chance to attend the shows in 2017.

Unlike last year, places are open to representatives from brands and suppliers who may be interested in sourcing from the shows, as well as retailers.

The Retail Jeweller delegation will be required to travel from London Heathrow on February 27, 2017 returning to the UK on March 6, 2017. Those who are selected to attend will be provided with one return economy class flight and five nights’ accommodation in Hong Kong, enabling them to visit both shows.

Those interested in applying for the trip are asked to do so via email to with Hong Kong Buyer Incentive Programme as the subject line before the close of business tomorrow (January 20).

Participation is limited to one representative from each retailer/supplier and all candidates will be subject to eligibility screening by the HKTDC.
