Flux Fair Luxury announces conference speakers

Ethics-focused conference Flux Fair Luxury has unveiled the key speakers for its forthcoming conference taking place at Birmingham’s Assay Office.

Now in its second year, the two-day event, running from April 25-26, will include a line-up of discussions and talks designed to examine approaches to ethics, sustainability and responsible sourcing.

Day one will focus on responsible and sustainable sourcing in the jewellery industry with case studies from top UK jewellers. Day two will assess the wider issues in the industry, looking at specific areas of the supply chain, manufacturing and human rights as well the overall environmental impact.

Confirmed speakers at this year’s event include Lisa Levinson from Forevermark, Claus Teilmann-Petersen, vice president group ethics at Danish jewellery brand Pandora, Victoria Waugh from the Fairtrade Foundation, Jack Cunningham from Gemfields, Tim Ingle from retailer Ingle & Rhode, Andrew Bone from the Responsible Jewellery Council and Alan Frampton from jewellery brand, Cred.
