IN PICS: NAJ, Retail Jeweller and IJL drinks event celebrate the launch of Created in the UK

The National Association of Jewellers (NAJ) together with Retail Jeweller and International Jewellery London (IJL) held a drinks event on Monday evening (September 2) to celebrate the official launch of the NAJ’s ‘Created in the UK’ mark.

Held at The Prince at West Brompton Crossing, just a few minutes from Olympia exhibition centre, the free-to-attend event saw over 200 visitors and exhibitors from IJL gather for an evening of networking.

The NAJ’s ‘Created in the UK’ mark was officially unveiled at IJL on Monday (September 2) and is a new initiative to promote jewellery and allied products made in the UK.

The scheme champions British manufacturing and is designed for both suppliers and retailers, whether NAJ members or not.

In honour of the scheme, The Prince was given a Union Jack themed make over for the evening.
