There is just one week remaining for businesses to submit their entries and nominations for this year’s re-launched Retail Jeweller Inspiring Independents 2019 event
For the first time this year, independent retail businesses will be able to enter the awards in five categories as well as nominating themselves or their fellow retailers for inclusion in the annual list of the top 100 independent businesses.
Entries and nominations are open for another seven days until Friday August 9 and can be made via the dedicated Inspiring Independents website here https://independents.retail-jeweller.com/enter and here https://independents.retail-jeweller.com/nominate-2019 .
Also new for this year, Retail Jeweller will be adding a morning conference event all attendees, centred around the theme of Boosting Your Business and aimed at independent retailers.
This means the 2019 Inspiring Independents will both recognise and celebrate the industries achievements at our lunchtime awards, as well as reflecting on and addressing today’s business challenges and opportunities at our morning conference.
The conference will feature a variety of inspiring keynotes, case studies and panel discussions exploring changing consumer behaviour, experiential retail and how to create new business opportunities in a challenging retail economy.
This will then be followed by a drinks reception and lunchtime awards ceremony and networking.
The Company of Master Jewellers (CMJ) has been confirmed as the headline partner for the awards part of the event.
The enterable awards categories for this year, are as follows:
- · Best customer experience
- · Best new independent retailer
- · Best use of visual merchandising and store design
- · Independent marketing campaign of the year
- · Supplier of the year to the independent jewellery/watch sector
The closing date for entries and nominations is Friday August 9.
