After day three (February 7), Retail Jeweller rounds-up some of the key highlights from the Birmingham show

Bering Watches

Danish watch brand Bering returns to Jewellery & Watch once again for 2017 with its new unisex collection, the Max René collection. The new timepieces still maintain the brand’s minimalistic Scandinavian look but feature colourful, interchangeable straps. Each watch strap in the range is easy to replace by simply pushing out the strap and sliding in the new one. Created by designer and photographer Dane Max René, the range offers consumers one watch with a variety of styles.

Recommend retail prices for the Max René collection start at £199, with the straps retailing at £39.

In addition to the new watch designs, the brand has also unveiled its Arctic Glow bracelet. Each bracelet is handmade and features scratch-resistant ceramic beads.

Lucy Quartermaine

Eponymous jewellery brand Lucy Quartermaine has unveiled her new Waterfall collection.

The designer told Retail Jeweller that the collection has been well received by retailers attending the show. The range, inspired by natural waterfalls, features water drops made from sterling silver.

Lucy Quartermaine designer said: “We have really listened to our retailers and looked at our price points. As a result we have produced this brand new collection called Waterfall. It has been very popular and we have had lots of orders.”

Anuka Jewellery

Another new brand to debut at Jewellery & Watch this week is Anuka Jewellery. Designer and founder Francesca Kippax unveiled the new Amati collection at the show. Available from March 2017, the collection is a bold jewellery range featuring circles and each piece is handmade from 925 silver. The brand is predominantly stocked online but is aiming to open more bricks and mortar stores throughout the UK in 2017.

Recommended retail prices range from £50 to £270

Nomination

Italian jewellery brand Nomination, renowned for its composable bracelet has released a selection of fashion jewellery at the Birmingham show. The Flair collection, which is new for SS17 offers necklaces, bracelets, earring and rings available in three colourways; silver, rose and black. The snake chain design features Swarovski cubic zirconia set against fresh water pearls, creating a simple yet modern style.
