Following the fourth day (February 8) of Jewellery & Watch at Birmingham’s NEC, Retail Jeweller rounds up new collection highlights from the day.
Exhibiting for the first time at Jewellery & Watch, jewellery fashion brand Lucinda King has launched an array of minimalistic and contemporary pieces. A popular range at the show is the new Audrey collection, comprising simple charm pendants with matching earrings available in sterling silver and 18ct rose gold plating, finished with white topaz.
Retail prices range from £40 for earrings and £50 to £80 for necklaces.
Exhibiting at the Birmingham show for the first time in several years is silver jewellery brand Azendi, situated on the boulevard. The brand’s Infinity pearl collection has received a lot of attention at this year’s trade event. Made from sterling silver, cubic zirconia and fresh water pearls, the elegant designs have been a huge hit with retailers. In addition to this, the Spirited Away collection has also attracted a great deal of interest. As well as unveiling the latest jewellery ranges, the silver brand has also exhibited its shop-in-shop display cabinets for the first time.
Retail prices for the Infinity pearl collection range from £30 to £85.
Danish jewellery brand Dansk Smykkekunst’s latest collection focuses on circular designs. The Scandinavian style, synonymous with Dansk Smykkekunst, is evident is all the new pieces for SS17. The hero piece is the Mix and Match cuff bracelet. Available in gold, rose, silver or haematite, this stand-out design is set to be the brand’s bestseller for SS17.
Retail prices start at £39.90 for the Mix and Match cuff bracelet.
Another Danish brand exhibiting at the five-day trade event is UK Jewellery Awards 2016 winner Sif Jakobs. This season the company says it has listened to its retailers and customers and added more colourways. It was formerly considered a silver-plated jewellery brand, but the addition of rose and yellow gold plating this season has added more variety to the company’s designs, creating a broader appeal. Geometric and circular styles are incorporated throughout the SS17 range, as well as new angular baguette-cut designs such as the Antella collection.
Retail prices for the Antella collection range from £89 to £219.
