Maurice Lacroix wins Red Dot Design Awards

Swiss watch brand Maurice Lacroix has been awarded two prizes in the 2017 Red Dot Awards in the watches and jewellery category.

Two of the brand’s Masterpiece models, Masterpiece Chronograph Skeleton and the Masterpiece Skeleton, received the excellence in design award from a jury of leading experts.

The international competition awards manufacturers, designers and architects from across 57 countries worldwide. This year, 5,200 designs were entered into the competition.

Since 2007, the luxury watch brand has won the award 13 times.

Stephane Waser managing director at Maurice Lacroix said: “The Red Dot Design Awards are one of the world’s most prestigious and critical international product competitions, so we’re beyond thrilled to once again be taking two awards home.

“The Masterpiece collection is the perfect expression of our approach to watchmaking. It is handcrafted, modern and stylish with a high perceived value,” added Waser.
