Retail Jeweller hosts first ever 30 Under 30 event

Retail Jeweller is this morning (May 25) hosting its inaugural Rising Stars 30 Under 30 event in celebration of this year’s nominees.

Held in conjunction with partner WB The Creative Jewellery Group at Shakespeare’s Globe theatre in London, the event offers the opportunity for the 30 Rising Stars from 2017 to meet and network with one another in a relaxed, informal setting, as well as rewarding them for making the list this year.

Started in 2015, Rising Stars 30 Under 30 is now in its third year and aims to recognise and reward some of the brightest talent in the UK jewellery sector across a variety of disciplines and job roles.

This is the first year that an event has been held to honour those who make the list, something that Retail Jeweller hopes to build on next year when it rolls out its 30 Under 30 mentoring programme, which will enable past alumni to mentor future cohorts.

Retail Jeweller editor Ruth Faulkner said: “We have been absolutely overwhelmed by the response to our first 30 Under 30 event, with 26 of this year’s 30 registered to attend what is sure to be an inspiring morning of networking.

“Our thanks must go to WB The Creative Jewellery Group for its support of this important initiative and for enabling us to make this event a reality.”
