Retail Jeweller’s new format Inspiring Independents to take place tomorrow

Retail Jeweller’s annual Inspiring Independents event, which this year has been revamped to include a new morning conference format, will take place in London tomorrow (October 17).

The event, which is being held at the Riverbank Park Plaza Hotel, will welcome over 100 guests the majority of whom represent this country’s leading independent jewellery and watch retailers.

In addition to the annual Inspiring Independents lunch and presentation of awards, this year’s event will also feature a morning conference for all attendees, centred around the theme of “Boosting your Business”.

Speakers at the morning event include representatives from the world of fashion, design, business coaching, branding and customer service and will address delegates on topics including new business opportunities, brand building and customer interaction.

The conference will then be followed by a drinks reception, three course lunch and presentation of dedicated awards, aimed solely at the independent jewellery market.

There will also be the reveal of the Top 100 Inspiring Independent retailers for 2019 as well as the announcement of which businesses have been crowned as the most inspiring in each region of the UK and Ireland.

Retail Jeweller editor Ruth Faulkner said: “We always look forward to Inspiring Independents as it is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the hard work and dedication of all the independent retailers in our sector.

“Tomorrow’s event though, is set to be bigger and better than ever with the addition of the valuable conference sessions which have really given retailers another reason, over and above celebrating with their peers, to attend.

“We have got a great programme of thought-provoking, business-useful content and I hope everyone stands to benefit from the day.”

The event is sponsored by the Company of Master Jewellers, Brown & Newirth, Goodman Bros and TH March.

Tickets are still available and can be booked via .
