Sif Jakobs continues to impress at Inhorgenta 2017

Award-winning Danish jewellery brand Sif Jakobs Jewellery reported strong interest from international buyers at the recent Inhorgenta show in Munich, Germany, where it also scooped a key award.

The brand, which offers sterling silver and gold-plated jewellery designs, opened accounts with 27 new clients in Germany over the course of the four-day trade show.

Sif Jakobs Jewellery was also named Fashion Jewellery Brand of the Year at the inaugural Inhorgenta Awards ceremony hosted on Sunday, February 19.

The judging panel, which was made up of models, fashion designers and journalists, praised Sif Jakobs Jewellery’s Antella bracelet for being “simultaneously classical and a little bit playful”.

Sif Jakobs Jewellery made an impact on buyers by taking a bigger stand at this year’s event. It also marked the brand’s largest trade show stand to date.

Speaking after the show, CEO of Sif Jakobs Jewellery Søren Dahl said: “We had a fantastic show at Inhorgenta 2017, welcoming buyers from across Europe. We opened some great new accounts and received lots of positive feedback on our spring/summer collections. We are positive that this success will continue through 2017.”

The Copenhagen-based brand has launched several collections for 2017, including the Antella range, which sets baguette-cut cubic zirconia in silver and 18ct yellow or rose gold-plated designs. Its new Valenza and Lariano collections are also proving popular with retailers.

Sif Jakobs Jewellery will be attending the upcoming CMJ Trade Event on March 5–6.
