Tables and tickets to this year’s UK Jewellery Awards (UKJA) are selling fast, with the 26th edition of the annual industry Oscars proving to be extremely popular.
Taking place on July 4 at the Artillery Garden at the Honourable Artillery Company (HAC) Estate in the heart of the City of London – a new venue for this year – the event will see awards given out across 19 categories, recognising businesses and individuals from all areas of the jewellery and watch industry.
An estimated 700 people are expected to attend the ceremony this year, which is held in association with headline partner Clogau.
Other sponsors of the awards include ChloBo, Citizen, Hockley Mint, IIDGR, International Jewellery London, Pursuit, TH March and Uno de 50. The event is also supported by the National Association of Jewellers, Rotary and Wolf.
Tickets for this year’s event have already outsold the number sold by this time last year, with many guests reportedly excited about the move to the new venue.
Retail Jeweller editor Ruth Faulkner explained: “Last year, the 25th anniversary edition of the UKJA attracted in excess of 660 guests and the event has grown each year since 2014.
“As such we have taken the decision to relocate for 2018 to a venue with a larger maximum capacity that also offers all of our guests a little something extra. The Artillery Garden at HAC is a stunning location, complete with its own funfair, and will make for the ideal place to host the event of the year.
“We are delighted to welcome back Clogau as headline partner for the fifth year running. Clogau’s ongoing support of the UKJA confirms their belief that this is a really important event in the industry’s calendar and we are incredibly grateful to them for helping to make the awards what it is.”
