The deadline to submit entries for the 2019 UK Jewellery Awards has been extended until the end of the day this Friday (January 25) due to unprecedented demand from those still wishing to enter.
Entries had been due to close last week (January 18) but, following a record number of requests from individuals and businesses who still hadn’t managed to complete their applications, entries will now be accepted for another week.
At the last count a record number of entries had already been received, up by 9% on the previous record set last year.
Taking place on Wednesday July 3, at the Artillery Garden at the HAC in the heart of the City of London, the UKJA 2019 will see individuals and businesses from across the jewellery and watch industries recognised in 20 categories.
Entries are open in 17 of the 20 available categories honouring everything from suppliers and designers through to store design and retailers.
Those wishing to enter have until the end of the day today (January 25, 2019) to complete their entry form and entries can be saved and submitted via the dedicated UK Jewellery Awards website at https://awards.retail-jeweller.com/ .
Retail Jeweller is delighted to welcome back Clogau as headline partner for the 2019 event, marking the brand’s sixth consecutive year of headline sponsorship of the event. Other sponsors already confirmed for the 2019 event include Citizen, the Company of Master Jewellers, Hockley Mint, International Jewellery London, Jewellery & Watch and TH March.
Last year’s awards attracted almost 700 guests, making it the biggest night in the industry’s calendar and this number looks set to rise for the 2019 event.
