The deadline to enter this year’s UK Jewellery Awards (UKJA) has been extended by one week following requests from businesses and individuals for more time to complete their applications.
As a result of this extended deadline, the final closing date for entry submissions will now be close of business on Friday, January 26.
Entries are being accepted in 16 of 19 categories and the awards, scheduled to take place on July 4, 2018, will recognise excellence across the industry, looking to reward the best businesses and individuals spanning all areas, from design and supply through to sales and retail.
For 2018, some new awards categories have been introduced to ensure the event stays relevant.
The awards ceremony will take place on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at the Artillery Garden at the Honourable Artillery Company (HAC) Estate in the heart of the City of London. It includes an inside awards venue as well as an outside space and garden, complete with adjacent fun fair.
Welsh jewellery brand Clogau has been named as headline partner of the event for the fifth year running.
Other sponsors already confirmed for 2018 include watch brand Citizen, fine jewellery manufacturer Hockley Mint, trade show International Jewellery London, software supplier Pursuit, insurance specialists TH March and jewellery brand Uno de 50, as well as official supporter the National Association of Jewellers.
Applications for the 2018 awards can be completed any time from now until the end of the day on January 26, 2018 at https://awards.retail-jeweller.com/.
