In 2014, Ben Pritchard won the Goldsmiths’ Craft and Design Council Gold Award in the 3D category for his silver iPhone case depicting the London skyline. In 2015, he went on to win a Gold award in the Catherine Best Special Award (Junior) and a Silver in the Special Council Award (Junior) for his 3D finished pieces. Pritchard was selected to represent the UK at the 43rd World Skills Competition in São Paolo in 2015. He placed eighth in the Jewellery Skills category and received a Medal of Excellence for his work.
To finish 2015, Pritchard became a Freeman of the Goldsmiths’ Company after completing his five-year apprenticeship in diamond mounting with Emson Haig.
