Emma Darnell

New product development and national accounts administrator

DOB 28/09/1986 Age 29

Having joined the New Product Development (NPD) team in 2014 after working for Domino’s customer service team, Emma Darnell has quickly become a vital member of the team. Nothing gets launched without going through her. As new designs emerge, she manages test pieces, liaising with the setters and workshop to make sure the correct feedback reaches the designers. When designs are ready for launch, she sets up the codes and moulds so designs can be ordered, manages the sometimes hundreds of samples through the workshop, and loads the even more plentiful pricing onto the system.

New launches are kept firmly on track by Darnell being on top of product and processes, working interdepartmentally to ensure smooth delivery. When customers pose questions, it is Darnell who provides the answers and makes sales happen.

Darnell also supports the national accounts side of the NPD team with product selection, pricing and set-up.
