In Retail Jeweller’s Rising Stars 30 Under 30 supplement we present the amazing young talent that exists in the industry. Here we look at Richard Vinten.
Bespoke CAD designer and 3D printing technician
DOB 23/05/90 Age 25
Richard Vinten is described as a key member of the Weston Beamor Bespoke CAD and 3D Print team. He works on customers’ bespoke designs and is often involved in some of the trickier aspects of making jewellery designs a reality.
Vinten started his career in 2012 on a placement with jewellery designer Alexander Davis, creating the CAD work for some of his most complex designs, including his Quark Super-Brooch. He joined WB The Creative Jewellery Group later that year and hasn’t looked back. His career highlight to date is working with Ivonna Poplanska on her Eternal Dove brooch design, commissioned by the then British Jewellers’ Association to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
