Jewellery Brand of the Year

Winner: Clogau

Boasting more than 300 retail partners across the UK in 2014, Clogau has sensitively grown and fostered its brand in recent years, leading judges to award the brand this much-coveted accolade. Recognising opportunities to partner with two influential figures in the jewellery and TV industry during its 25th anniversary year in 2014, the brand worked with Welsh designer Sarah Jordan and QVC presenter Catherine Huntley to showcase its brand heritage and design voice. One judge said: “Clogau has shown the best use of precious metals throughout its collections and continues to produce designs true to its brand identity.” Another added: “This brand continues to go from strength to strength and will carry on because of its dedication to identity, heritage and quality of product.”


Coeur de Lion

A high-quality brand with a bold design DNA, Coeur de Lion spent 2014 focusing on its customer base of independent jewellers, with improved marketing and point-of-sale support. With UK stockist numbers now exceeding 300, the brand selectively targets towns where it is not currently present.


Judges were won over by the place this brand has carved out for itself in the bridal market, as well as the striking appearance of its cubic zirconia against other brands in the same market segment. A worthy finalist, this brand continues to grow its presence in the UK, recently winning House of Fraser as a stockist.

Endless Jewelry

Reaching more than 20 markets since it launched, Endless Jewelry received acclaim from judges for its expert marketing, professional attitude and improvement in product quality. In 2014, the brand featured widely in consumer fashion press, online and trade publications.

Fei Liu Fine Jewellery

Admired for Fei Liu’s progression from designer to brand, recognisable designs and recent lower entry price point, Fei Liu Fine Jewellery won much praise from the panel. New collections remain a firm favourite with retailers, with the brand having added six accounts at Jewellery & Watch Birmingham 2014.

Tatty Devine

As recognisable in fashion as it is in jewellery, Tatty Devine’s playful, quirky designs stood out to judges. Focusing on its 15th anniversary celebrations for 2014, the brand’s designs drew from its archive and ongoing link-ups with designers Sibling and London Transport Museum, to name a few.
