UKJA entries deadline fast approaching

The deadline for UK Jewellery Awards (UKJA) entries is fast approaching, with less than three weeks left to enter.

Organised by Retail Jeweller, the annual UKJA are the only trade awards of their kind for the industry and will this year celebrate the achievements of the industry in 18 categories.

Entries for 14 of self-nomination categories should be submitted on the Retail Jeweller UK Jewellery Awards website before the closing date of January 22.

In a change to previous years, the Fine Jewellery Brand of the Year and Watch Brand of the Year shortlists will be decided by the Retail Jeweller editorial team before judges meet to deliberate the winner.

In 2015, Retail Jeweller also announced its new media partnership with leading women’s monthly title Marie Claire, marking the first time that the event has boasted a consumer title as its official media partner.

As part of the partnership, and also in a change to the entry process in previous years, Marie Claire readers will be asked to vote for the winner of the prestigious Jewellery Brand of the Year category via the magazine’s website.

The annual UKJA awards will take place at the London Hilton on Park Lane on June 29 2016.
