D for Diamonds reports successful start to 2017

Children’s jewellery brand D for Diamonds, owned by jewellery wholesaler Gecko, has reported a positive response to its recently revamped range.

After exhibiting at trade show Jewellery & Watch Birmingham earlier this year, the company has reportedly added a number of new retailers to its list of stockists and has seen a month-on-month increase in sales.

According to an announcement  from the brand today (March 28), the new mums and mums-to-be silver jewellery has played a key role in the brand’s growth, with the ‘little feet’ and ‘baby girl’ and ‘baby boy’ pendants proving most popular.

Desiree Pringle creative director Gecko said: “These items have a strong emotional appeal and are perfectly priced to provide a really thoughtful, life-time gift for new mothers.”

The collection has been given a new direction this season offering designs for kids from birth to pre-teen and also a jewellery collection for women aimed directly at the growing baby shower market.
