Continental Jewellery UK merges with Lawrence Blunt

The UK division of Hong Kong-based fine jewellery supplier and manufacturer Continental, Continental Jewellery UK, has merged with UK-based fine jewellery supplier Lawrence Blunt Ltd.

The new merged company will trade as CJUK and Lawrence Blunt’s current managing director, Laurence Blunt, will be appointed as managing director of the new operation.

The businesses’ current respective heads of sales, Oliver Crouch at Continental Jewellery UK and Barrie Dobson at Lawrence Blunt, will continue to head up the sales team at the newly formed CJUK.

The directors of the new company said that they hope the merger will offer additional benefits to both existing and new customers by offering “extensive design and manufacturing facilities as well as a broader array of products and support.”

The company continued by saying it looks forward to welcoming new and existing customers at the forthcoming Company of Master Jewellers buying group meeting on August 4 and 5, the Irish jewellery showcase in Dublin on August 19 and 20 and International Jewellery London (IJL) at Olympia London from September 2 to 4.
