EXCLUSIVE: Nomination prepares to reveal new communication strategy

Italian fashion jewellery brand Nomination is preparing to reveal a new commercial as part of a refreshed communication strategy.

Carrying the strapline, “One for me, one for you”, the new commercial will be officially debuted in September but, the brand will begin a countdown to the launch on its social media channels from August 26.

The new communication strategy and commercial has already been shared with those who work with the brand globally, including agents and retail stockists, at a series of events held in each territory over the summer.

For the new campaign, Nomination turned to New York based Creative Agency GB65, a luxury brand specialist.

GB65’s founder and creative director, Giovanni Bianco, came up with the new campaign and directed the new video commercials.

Designed to convey the composable nature of Nomination jewellery, the commercial has been shot in the same style as a music video and features a voice which punctuates the music with the “One for me, one for you” tagline.

Speaking exclusively to Retail Jeweller, when the commercial was debuted to retailers and agents in the UK, Nomination marketing director Alessandro Gensini, explained: “We wanted to come up with something which reflected our family tradition of being a Florentine goldsmith but also conveyed what Nomination means to customers.

“People give the links to celebrate the special moments in life and mark relationships and personal bonds. We believe the new commercial and campaign shows the true heart of Nomination.”

More details regarding Nomination’s new communication strategy will be unveiled in future issues of Retail Jeweller.
