Anthony Harris

Apprentice mounter, Hockley Mint

DOB 25/07/90 Age 24

Anthony Harris was taken on at Hockley Mint as an apprentice through Holts Academy. As he settled into the company quickly, it became clear that Harris was keen to learn all aspects of Hockley’s production techniques as quickly as possible.

Described by the management at Hockley Mint as “a credit to himself” and the “perfect person to work with”, Harris is on course to complete his apprenticeship and is now helping out with new apprentices coming into the business.

He is now more than capable of producing a quality semi-handmade product in precious metal, and he is also playing a major part in design work quality control.

Furthermore, in 2014, Harris’s Holts coursework was recognised and he was made Student of the Year there.
