Assistant buyer, EC One

DOB 23/10/87 Age 27

Kimber joined London-based jeweller EC One in May 2012 as assistant buyer, having previously worked as studio and sales manager for jewellery designer Rachel Galley.

Since joining the independent retailer, which was voted number one in Retail Jeweller’s Inspiring Independents last year, Kimber has helped to drive the business’s product offering across both designers and in-house collections.

Credited with discovering exciting new designers for the store and having played a key role in the judging of the EC One Unsigned competition, Kimber is described by the retailer’s co-owner Jos Skeates as having “a keen eye for the latest trends, and a good ability to react to customers’ tastes and anticipate future ones”.

Kimber also helps advise and mentor new designers.
