Ahead of the February 2018 edition of German trade show Inhorgenta Munich, chairman and chief executive of Messe Munchen Klaus Dittrich considers the reasons why British buyers might wish to visit the event.
Niessing, Georg Jensen, Piero Milano, Fraleoni, Qayten and Paul Wide are some of the well-known brands joining Inhorgenta Munich as new exhibitors in 2018.
To date, 178 applications have been received from first-time exhibitors. Over 1,000 jewellery, precious stone and watch dealers from over 30 countries have signed up for the trade show so far, which takes place from 16-19 February 2018 at Messe Munchen in Munich Germany.
Munich is and remains the top location for a trade show Inhorgenta. Exhibitors and visitors alike appreciate the infrastructure but, above all, the diversity, quality and the unique program—all this exists only here in this form.
Additionally, the glamorous catwalk shows, the coveted Inhorgenta Award and pioneering forums are all special features of the fair.
Visitors repeatedly emphasis the great location of Inhorgenta. They enjoy the Munich metropolis and appreciate way business is conducted at the show – personal dealings based on partnership.
Some 27,500 trade visitors from 70 countries attended the show in 2017 and 90% of these visitors were decision-makers or had an influence of purchasing or procurement decisions.
This will be the case again in 2018. We also intend to put a strong focus on the watch segment – where we want to continue to grow.
