Charm-based ring concept brand Amulette is exhibiting at the current edition of Jewellery & Watch 2017. Retail Jeweller caught up with the brand’s designer and director, Lisa Harris to find out more
Why did you make the decision to exhibit at Jewellery & Watch?
In the previous two years, we have exhibited very successfully at Jewellery & Watch. We have always found the show to be a fabulous opportunity to showcase our new jewellery collections to both existing and new buyers.
What are you exhibiting at the show?
We are incredibly excited to launch 30 new charms for our iconic Labyrinth rings collection. All the charms are interchangeable, allowing our customers to personalise their own pieces. From our diamond initials to the opulent new gemstones, each charm is as individual as its wearer.
Our customers love designing their own unique combinations. Exhibiting at Jewellery & Watch allows us to showcase these new charms and more importantly, show our customers how flexible our product is. We are also launching our new Twigs collection as necklaces, earrings and charms.
Who are you targeting with the new ranges?
We are targeting both existing stockists and new retailers. For our existing stockists we think seeing the fresh, new charm ring designs is inspiring and makes our customers aware of all of the new ranges available. For our new stockists, Jewellery & Watch provides us with the opportunity to show them how the designs work and how flexible and unique they are. The ability to personalise our products is a unique selling point and never fails to inspire. We launch two collections a year to ensure the designs remain fresh and current. Jewellery & Watch has always been a successful trade show for us as we are firm believers in being able to show our products is by far the best way to sell them.
Do you have a target number of accounts you want to open at the show?
Not specifically, it is simply a fantastic opportunity to get feedback on our collections from both existing and new stockists. We hope to meet lots of interesting, new and potential customers as well as seeing old friends.
What are your plans for attracting stockists to your stand?
We have been very busy sending out brochures to potential customers and targeting areas were we would love to have representation. We have been calling existing stockists to encourage them to come and see us and take a look at the new collections.
What are your retail price points?
Our prices range from £25 to £1300, so there is something for all price points. We are really excited about Jewellery & Watch, it is a fabulous opportunity to meet new and existing buyers and share our unique story.
