Swarovski Group inks licensing deal with Karl Lagerfeld

The Swarovski Group has announced that it has signed a global, multi-year licensing agreement with designer fashion brand Karl Lagerfeld to create a women’s fashion jewellery collection.

Launching in September 2017, the collection will be available at Swarovski Crystal Worlds retail locations and select key retailers worldwide, in addition to Karl Largerfeld stores and Karl.com.

A first glimpse of the collection will premiere at Swarovski’s booth at Baselworld, which kicks off later this month.

Chief executive of Karl Lagerfeld Pier Paolo Righi said: “Karl is the man of accessorisation and jewellery. It was therefore the next natural step for us to expand our product range with a fashion jewellery collection.

“Swarovski, with their significant expertise, make the perfect partner for us and we look forward to launching the first collection this fall.”

The collection will include necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings featuring Swarovski crystals, and pricing of the core collection will range from €50 to €250 (£44 to £218).
