Welsh jewellery brand Clogau has unveiled its latest Gold of Royalty campaign featuring its iconic Tree of Life designs and itsTudor Rose, Royal Crown, Tudor Court, Debutante and Kensington collections.
Inspired by the grandeur of the Historic Royal Palaces, the campaign was shot at Pembroke Castle, Kensington Palace, Tower of London and Hampton Court Palace.
Commenting on the inspiration for the campaign, Clogau head of brand development Sonia Menezes said: “After celebrating a pivotal milestone last year of 25 years as one of the UK’s most successful jewellery brands, it was a natural progression to produce a campaign that celebrates and acknowledges our Welsh and British royal roots and our association with Historic Royal Palaces.
“Similar to our Heritage campaign, which was located at Highclere Castle [set of TV series Downton Abbey], we have used world-recognised and iconic locations to set our Gold of Royalty campaign, which strengthens our brand story and provides a strong touchpoint for our international and domestic customers.”
“Shooting and filming at such breath taking locations was magical – each glowing with history and sentiment, it was the perfect way to share the romance of our royal heritage and cultural legacy and showcase the jewellery designs that have been richly inspired by the architecture and stories held there.”
Emma Saunders business development manager at Historic Royal Palaces added: “We are extremely excited to be part of Clogau’s Gold of Royalty campaign and are proud of our association with this leading provider of fine jewellery.
“Historic Royal Palaces will only work with licensees that are considered the ‘best in their field’ and provides them with access to Britain’s rich royal history, with inspiration taken from some of the best designers, craftsmen and architects of the day.
“Only our licensed partners are granted the exclusive right to use our magnificent palaces, not only to inspire the product they create, but also to promote them.
“Clogau’s campaign is unique therefore in that it features the palaces and iconic areas such as the elegant Kensington Palace Gates, the stunning gardens of Hampton Court Palace and symbolic fortress of the White Tower at the Tower of London. In supporting Clogau with this campaign we hope to continue a relationship which inspires a passion for history and which enables the conservation of these palaces for future generations.”
